An initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), it provides a global platform for young leaders to shape the future by connecting local action with global perspectives.

Our goal is to bring people together. Working with local stakeholders, we deliver projects to address the needs of our communities and the world.

To nurture a progressive community that works diligently and innovatively to improve the state of Uyo and its people, extending same to Nigeria, Africa, and the world

Our Journey
The Uyo Hub was founded in 2015 by Mmanti Umoh, who saw in this city something the world was not yet paying enough attention to; a generation of young leaders ready to shape something bigger than themselves.
More than a decade later, that belief has grown into a community of 82 Shapers, 26+ projects, and a network that spans the city and connects to the world.
